Difficulty falling asleep: Taking more than 30 minutes from lying down to trying to sleep to actually falling asleep.
Difficulty maintaining sleep: Waking up during sleep and taking more than 30 minutes to fall back asleep.
Waking up early: Waking up more than 30 minutes before the usual waking time.
The sleep problems described in Criterion 1 occur at least three days a week.
Symptoms during the day such as extreme fatigue, dizziness, mood swings, irritability, memory decline, decreased work motivation, etc., indicating that sleep problems significantly impact daily activities.
If these three criteria are met simultaneously, it is likely that you are indeed suffering from insomnia.
